Queue Associates Worldwide joins the nation and millions across the globe in mourning the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022), who reigned over the UK for 70 years. We would like to extend our sincerest condolences to the Royal Family Household and everyone who is affected by the news. Her Majesty will be remembered for her public service and dedication to the country and the Commonwealth until the day she passed. While this news is bound to affect everyone differently, it is undoubtedly the end of an historic era that needs to be properly recognised.
Following the news of her passing, mourners began to leave a sea of flowers outside Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle along with messages of condolences.
For those who are unable to make it to the palace, the homepage of the Royal Family website now allows you to send your condolences and pay respects through an online form. The statement reads that ‘A selection of messages will be passed onto members of the Royal Family and may be held in the Royal Archives for posterity.’
A period of national mourning is underway, which will continue until the end of the day of her state funeral at Westminster Abbey. Monday 19 September, the date of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral, will be a national bank holiday.
While we join other businesses and organisations in paying respects to Her Majesty and commemorating Her reign, our offices will be closed on Monday, 19 September. We will resume our services per usual on Tuesday, 20 September.
